Ingredients
  

  • 2 Granny Smith apples (cored, cut into 3⁄4” slices)
  • 3⁄4 cup brandy
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1⁄2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1⁄3 cup sugar
  • 3⁄4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1⁄4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Ice
  • 1 bottle Spanish red wine
  • Orange slices (to serve)

Instructions
 

  • In a large jug or pitcher, add the apples together with the orange peel,
    cinnamon sticks, brandy, freshly squeezed juices, sugar and orange liqueur
    and stir well to combine totally. Set to one side, at room temperature, for 60
    minutes.
  • Pour in the wine, and stir well.
  • Serve in an ice-filled glass, top up with club soda and garnish with orange
    slices.
